Question FAQs

Q: How do I know the answer given by an Expert is correct?

A: To many questions there is often not a black and white answer. Expert's opinions often vary. If you wish to have a wide range of answers then simply ask the question again, but asking for a different opinion from a different Expert. Bear in mind that the two opinions may be the same. Even if opinions are the same, Experts may have different ways with dealing with the particular problem. If both answers are different, please accept one. If the same, please accept either or both.

Q: Do I have to pay money before I get an answer?

A: You decide how much you wish to pay for an answer. You then make a deposit. Your deposit is held in a PayPal account and is only paid to Expert Answers once you have accepted the full answer from one of our experts. If you do not accept the answer you can request your deposit in full.

Q: How long will it take for me to get an answer?

A: Sometimes answers come back within minutes if an Expert with the knowledge you are looking for happens to be online when you post your question. We aim to have all questions answered within two to three hours and in any event within twenty four hours at the latest. Like good food, an Expert Answer takes some time to prepare.

Q How do I place a value on my question?

A: The higher you value the Expert's answer, generally the longer answer you will get and the faster will be the response. When you choose your value please bear in mind that you are paying for the Expert's time and professional expertise. There is often a large element of thinking and research before they are able to provide an answer. Questions that are valued too low may not be answered or will not be given priority so think carefully when valuing the answer to your question and think what the answer may be worth to you and how much money you are saving by using Expert Answers. If you have a Million Pound question then surely the answer is more valuable.
